The Adventure Challenges are breathtakingly beautiful rambles over sea, lake, mountain trails (and some long pavement) raising money for Canuck Place Children's Hospice, Canucks for Kids Fund and 60 Minute Kids Club.
Locations: Jericho Beach, Vancouver BC, BC and Cultus Lake in Chilliwack, BC. One race will include a 4km Ocean Kayak / 20km Mountain Bike / 5km Trail Run and the other a 4k Lake Kayak, 30k road bike, and an 8km ramble in a beautiful rain forest. I do BOTH of them.

It appears I was a happy camper
Or maybe I just like to have my picture taken. I promise you that where you see me running, and smiling on the out side...my insides are crying. Can't wait for next year! Adventure Cam to come soon...and a race report.
My name is Malcolm and I was a volunteer at Canuck Place Children's Hospice in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for nearly seven years. Now I support them by raising money by participating in the Canuck Place Adventure Challenges!
I said hospice. Not really a word that you associate with children but there you go. We will tell you about the house as this blog progresses with the hope that you will learn, and as you learn we hope that you will share. The purpose of the Adventure Challenge is to raise money for AND awareness about Canuck Place.
The name of each kid at the house you read about has been changed.
September 14th and 15th are the dates for the next Adventure Challenges.
